RIBA Part 3 Examiners

We are delighted to have one of our partners, Stewart Grant, contribute to the education of forthcoming architects as a fully certified Part 3 Examiner.

 

Stewart has been an examiner for RIBA Part 3 since 2000, and is involved in the final submissions from 6 students a year. Students have to prepare a written document containing five different sections comprising:

  • CV
  • Personal Statement
  • Case Study - based on a project they have had continual involvement in
  • Work experience log books
  • Exam answers

He is also involved in their final interview along with another examiner.

 

Stewart says "This is something I feel passionately about, helping the next generation of architects. I find it a satisfying and rewarding process that ensures the profession gets the best new talent by helping them through practice at a realistic world of work level, and not just from the theory books."
