Final visits and signing off in Oz
01 March 2010
Hi all - visited the Moses Montefiore Aged Care development in Randwick yesterday which Damian knows. It is a very expensive facility but the money has clearly been spent well.
Finished the Aussie leg of the trip with a meal at Peter Hamilton’s apartment attended by most of the people we've spent the week with. They have been wonderful hosts, socially and professionally - providing us with an extremely comprehensive package of information on both development sites.
A final lasting memory will be the return trip to the city last night on the Mosman ferry passing the opera house all lit up on the way back.
The case now needs packing and then I’m off to the airport in a few hours to fly to Tokyo overnight via a 2 hour plane change at Singapore.
I hope I can get on line next week but I've already been told that the Japanese won't allow Nokia phones to work so don't try and call!
Best wishes,
David
