Building Information Modelling (BIM) - shaping the future

Following the Governments mandating of BIM usage by 2016 the changes that Building Information Modelling will bring to the construction / property industry in this country reach far beyond Contractors and Architects.

Clients, Project Managers, Property Lawyers, Planners, Facilities Managers, Manufacturers and Sub-contractors amongst others, through the entire supply chain, need to know about the changes and opportunities that BIM will bring to their everyday operations.

Mark Stodgell, Government BIM Task Group appointed North West BIM Champion, will present the very real opportunities and challenges that BIM will bring to the property construction sector, its clients and its supply chain, together with updates following February’s publication of PAS1192:2 and the CIC BIM Protocols.
