Kat qualifies as Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor

Kat Radford, who works for our sister company Pozzoni Management Services, has qualified as a Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor.
The Code for Sustainable homes is the Government’s Environmental Assessment Method for new build housing. It provides individual dwellings with a star rating based on its energy and water use, waste and surface water run-off reduction, site ecology and materials as well as other ‘health and well being’ factors such as access to private space and daylight levels. A higher rating represents a more sustainable home with the maximum 6 stars being awarded only to zero carbon homes.
Kats commitment to achieving the qualification runs alongside working at Pozzoni Management Services and completing the final year of a 4yr doctorate in Urban Ecology at Salford University. Kat says “Whilst its a lot of work running everything together, becoming an assessor for Pozzoni Management Services means I can undertake code assessments on behalf of the company, and give back to them the commitment they have given me in my training.”
