Estate Strategy Masterplan, Aston University

We were initially commissioned to work with Aston University in developing a written estate strategy covering the term from 2009 - 2019 for its Birmingham city centre campus. This work involved analytical review of the university's estate, exploring departmental requirements, estate data including space utilisation, plus identification of opportunities and proposals. Subsequent to the estate strategy, we were commissioned to develop a site-wide masterplan. We presented our work in design report format, supplemented by a conceptual 3-d fly-through model of the entire campus.
