Bridge Retail Park, Runcorn
The brief was to maximise the retail space within the 257,000sq ft brownfield site. Pozzoni incorporated a variety of features from the adjacent Brindley Art Centre and nearby Silver Jubilee Bridge, including red and grey banding within the brickwork, green glazing in the windows, Fyfestone split-face block work and the curved profile of the roofing.
Since completion Bridge Retail Park has seen both Homebase and Dreams take up 15 year leases, on 30,000sq ft (2,787sq m) and 9,000sq ft (836sq m) units respectively.
