Display Energy Certificates (DECs)
Non domestic buildings, visited by the public, which are larger than 1000m2 require a Display Energy Certificate under the Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD). DECs illustrate the occupational energy performance of existing public buildings and annual renewal of the certificate enables the building owner to compare their annual energy consumption and consider new ways of reducing it to save carbon and money.
Pozzoni is licensed by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) to provide Display Energy Certificates and Advisory Reports for any building type. Since their inception in 2008, we have provided DECs for leisure centres, office buildings, sixth form centres and schools.
